In the Prehistoric Technology Laboratory, various works are carried out in relation to the different lines of research and linked to the study of parietal and movable art from various prehistoric sites. Our director, Olivia Rivero, participates as PI of numerous sites and research projects, as well as co-director or scientific coordinator of other important sites with the presence of Palaeolithic rock art, both in Spain and France, as well as outside the European continent (Australia and Laos).

In addition, in the framework of educational innovation and research, the members of the laboratory have developed several teaching innovation and dissemination projects, emphasizing “Paleoart-3D. Back to the past” at the University of Salamanca, which has led to the creation of a virtual museum that can be visited through our Sketchfab page.
