Miguel García Bustos

He is graduated in History from the University of Salamanca. He completed the Master’s Degree in Advanced Studies and Research in History (Societies, Powers, Identities) specialising in Prehistory, Ancient History and Archaeology at the same university, with a Master’s Thesis on composition in parietal art using statistical tools, obtaining an honours degree and the Extraordinary Master’s Degree Award.

He has enjoyed the Jóvenes Talentos scholarship financed by the University of Salamanca in collaboration with the Salamanca City Council for two years. He was a finalist in the 18th Archimedes Competition of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, winning a runner-up prize and a stay at a CSIC research centre. In addition, he is the second best CV of his generation according to the National Ranking of the Spanish Society of Academic Excellence.

He is currently working on his doctoral thesis on composition in Magdalenian Palaeolithic art under the supervision of Olivia Rivero.
